- Duration: 5 Days (approx.)
- Location: Yarrie Station
- Product code: PILB
Step into the raw, untamed beauty of Western Australia’s Pilbara region for a food tour unlike any other. This isn’t your polished, white-tablecloth kind of journey. It’s a gritty, honest, boots-in-the-dirt experience where the stars are brighter, the stories are richer, and the beef? Oh, it’s unforgettable.
This is the Epic Pilbara
This vast region offers a truly immersive experience, blending stunning vistas with high-quality produce. It's known for its ancient landscapes, rich resource deposits and large collection of Aboriginal rock art. From sapphire waters of the coastline to rugged sun-kissed pastoral properties, from the hottest town in Australia to the largest port, we’ll take you on a special journey of discovery with locals who hold this country in their hearts. Experience a deep sense of connection to the land, its history, and the people who call it home.
Unlimited Potential
On the coast is Pardoo Station, known for its innovative use of irrigated high-tech pivots and commitment to sustainable farming practices to produce world-class Wagyu beef. This venture is transforming the Pilbara pastoral industry. Eighty Mile Beach forms the western boundary of this property so early evening drinks on the sand means 'shoes off' as we kick back before dinner at sunset. Flatback turtles nest here along with sawfish, dugong and dolphins which inhabit the seagrass meadows and coral reefs.
Legacy Carved in Red Dirt
Annabelle Coppin is a fifth-generation grazier who runs the remote Yarrie Station, nestled deep in the heart of the Outback. She's opened her property exclusively for us to witness the art of cattle mustering, learn about the traditional methods of raising beef, and experience the Pilbara way of life. Tracey will be ensuring you’re well-fed preparing mouth-watering meals cooked over an open flame, allowing you to relax and savor the true taste of Western Australia while sipping on local wines by the campfire.
As the stars twinkle above, you'll sleep under the vast, unspoiled sky, fully immersing yourself in the raw, untouched beauty of the Pilbara. This is more than a food tour—it’s a true outback experience like no other.
